Got your PC Speakers damaged? No problem. If you have your android phone right besides you, you can use it as a speaker for your computer. All you have to do is just to follow a few steps.
Before we start let me tell you that this method is only for android and windows users. So if you are using some other operating system then you should leave this post and find some other way as you wish.
So there are primarily two ways how to use a phone as a PC speaker: Wirelessly and by using a USB. Let us explore them one by one.

Wireless Method

For this method you will have to connect your phone to your PC/Laptop via a wifi. You can make a personal Hotspot with your phone and connect your PC to it or make a hotspot on you PC and connect it through your phone. either way it should work. You can also use a separate wifi network as well. Just make sure both your pc and mobile phone are connected to the same wifi hotspot.
  1. Go to the Google Play Store and install an app called 'Sound Wire' (free). Just perform a search for it in the Google Play Store.
  2. Download and install the Sound Wire Server on your PC as well From here → Download
  3. Connect your phone and your PC in the same Wireless Network or via a hotspot as mentioned earlier.
  4. Open the sound wire app on you phone and your PC. You should  see a screen like this:
  5. On your mobile phone you should click on Soundwire Logo once which is right in the middle of the application's homepage.

You should now see a connected message on your PC screen in the sound wire dialogue box. after connecting you’re ready to hear your PC sounds on your mobile phone wirelessly.

USB method

  1. Connect your Android Phone with your PC through a USB.
  2. Now turn on the option of USB tethering on your mobile phone from your phone settings
  3. Open Sound Wire server on your PC and enter the server address in you mobile app as it is. make sure to allow both private and public network access to the server software.
  4. Hit the Sound Wire Logo on your phone and now you’re good to go.
Hope it worked for you. If Yes, then share it with others as well. And dont forget to follow us to know more cool technology tricks.
