Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has confessed to a WhatsApp drug chat with manager Karishma Prakash during an investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Û” According to Indian media reports, after the WhatsApp chat, the Narcotics Control Bureau of India had issued summons to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shardha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
Deepika Padukone, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, was busy shooting a film in the tourist destination of Goa. When the summons was issued, she reached Mumbai and appeared before the NCB team today. According to Indian media reports, During the interrogation, the actress confessed to the chat with the manager Karshma.
Media reports said that the investigation team was not satisfied with the answers of the actress and the female manager.
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh had met a 12-member legal team at a local hotel yesterday in which consultations were held in this regard. The leaked chats of Deepika and her manager Karisma have not been recorded from WhatsApp but Deepika's chats till 2017 were obtained from Jaya Saha, the former manager of Sshant Singh Rajput It is believed that 12 people, including Riya Chakraborty and his brother, have been arrested so far in the drug case in the death case of Shashant Singh Rajput, after which the scope of investigation was expanded in Bollywood. While many Bollywood actors are in the custody of Mumbai Police who are also under investigation.
